The House of Charity is a homeless shelter in Spokane.

With Marshall, Jane, and John

Marshall was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Marine Corps--he served in the Gulf War. Jane's late husband participated in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. John, my host in Spokane, is also an Army veteran and now cooks for the homeless, a population which includes many veterans. I met a few today.

There is much to process from my visit.
